At UmmahConnect, your data is an amanah, a sacred trust. We collect the minimum required to serve you, never sell your information, and never use it to optimise against your deen.

2. What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password hash.
• Profile content you choose to share (bio, interests, photos).
• Messages and posts you create on the platform.
• Limited device & usage data needed for security and reliability.

3. How we use it

To operate the service, keep accounts secure, surface relevant halaqas and connections, comply with the law, and improve the product. We do not run behavioural ads.

4. Sharing

We share data only with vetted infrastructure providers (hosting, email, analytics) under strict data processing agreements, or when required by law.

5. Your rights

You may access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from account settings, or by emailing privacy@ummahconnect.app.

6. Children

UmmahConnect is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
