Turning walk-ins into repeat clients
The 90-second window at the end of a first appointment is the highest-leverage marketing moment you have.

A walk-in has demonstrated more intent than any online ad ever will. They are, right now, in your chair, having a good experience. And in most salons, they leave with a receipt and nothing else.
The 90-second script
As the appointment wraps: 'Would you like to book your next one? If you rebook today I can hold your same time in six weeks.' That single sentence, delivered by the stylist rather than reception, converts about 55% of first-time visits into a scheduled second one.
The follow-up 48 hours later
A short, personal message ('hope the new colour is settling in, send me a photo if you can') from the stylist. Not marketing. Not a discount. Just a small human touch. Return rate on customers who receive this: 78%. Return rate on those who do not: 34%.
