Our Vision

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ

"Indeed, the believers are but brothers.", Qur'an 49:10

A digital home for the global ummah built on Islamic values, accountable to Allah first, and designed by Muslims for Muslims.

For too long, Muslims have stitched their spiritual life across a dozen apps , one for prayer, one for Qur'an, one for community, none designed for them. UmmahConnect brings it home: a single, beautifully crafted platform where every interaction honours the deen.

What We Believe

Six convictions that shape every pixel.

These aren't taglines. They're the questions we ask before shipping anything, and the lines we will not cross, even if it costs us growth.

Direction over distraction

The internet was meant to bring us closer. Instead, it scatters our attention five times a day and never once turns us toward Makkah. We're rebuilding the compass.

Soul before scroll

Every interaction should leave you a better Muslim than it found you. We measure success in dhikr made, knowledge gained, sadaqah given, not minutes spent.

Beauty as ibadah

Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. Our craft, typography, calligraphy, motion, is an offering. A masjid you can carry in your pocket should feel like one.

Local heart, global hand

From a sister in Jakarta finding her halaqa, to a brother in Toronto discovering the Sunnah of his grandfather, one network, infinite local rooms.

Ilm at the center

Sahih sources. Verified scholars. Madhhab-aware tools. Knowledge isn't a feature; it's the spine that everything else hangs from.

Ummah, not audience

You are a brother, a sister, not a user, not an impression. The platform answers to you, and the both of us answer to Allah.

Why now

The story behind UmmahConnect.

It started with a simple frustration. A father in Birmingham, opening seven apps before Fajr, one for prayer times, one for the Qur'an, one for du'a, three for news that he didn't really want, and one for messaging the family group chat that had drifted into something he could barely defend in front of his children.

He realised that the most important thing in his life, his deen, had been scattered across the cracks of platforms that were never built for him. Worse, many of them were built against him. Algorithms that surfaced fitnah. Ads that mocked his values. Designs that mistook isolation for engagement.

We asked a different question: what would the internet look like if it had been designed by people who pray? What if every screen, every notification, every interaction had been weighed against لِيَعْبُدُونِ, that we were created to worship?

UmmahConnect is the answer we're building, slowly, carefully, with scholars at the table and the community at the wheel. It's not a startup chasing a market. It's a sadaqah jariyah we hope outlives us.

Niyyah

إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ

"Verily, actions are but by intentions."

, Hadith, Sahih al Bukhari

Every line of code, every screen, every notification we ship, we ask the same question first: what is the niyyah behind it? If the answer doesn't honour the deen, it doesn't ship.

The Promise

Built on amanah.
Accountable to Allah first.

Mainstream platforms are built to extract attention. UmmahConnect is built to nourish the soul, and we'll defend that mission with every line of code.
